and last year they were $5 usd...this is why I have no 990 kits at the monet, it's gotten insane.

I agree that farnell and RS seem to be jacking up their prices a lot. Its the small little operations locally that seem to be selling at fair prices where I am anyway.
There are other good parts... maybe it's time for an opamp based on the THAT transistor array?
