Calling all UK lathe owners!

I have a slight problem which can be easily solved with a lathe, but unfortunately I don't have one :/ I am building a project with a 1/8" grayhill in it, but need to use an adaptor to upscale it so that the knob is centred. I have a 1/8" to 1/4 shaft adaptor, however the knobs I am using have a max shaft diameter of 6mm. You can see the problem, the 6.35mm adaptor doesn't fit in the 6mm knob. Easily solved by giving the adaptor a quick trim down on a lathe.

Are there any UK members with a lathe that would be willing to do this for me? I will pay all postage, and a contribution for your time if you feel that is appropriate.
