Hello,
I've been working on a small sidechain filter, different from the "traditional" low-cut. This one is more like a tilt curve - 1.7dB/oct (for those asking: that was the best-sounding one...)
It's very simple to implement, and can be mounted on the SC-switch - no need to fiddle with the PCB.
Here's a small diagram, a plot of the curve and a picture of the filter mounted in my unit.
Parts:
Polyester capacitors, min. 50V, 5%:
- 1 x 330nf
- 1 x 68nf
- 1 x 22nf
- 1 x 10nf
- 1 x 3.3nf
- 1 x 1nf
Resistors:
- 1 x 33k
- 1 x 12k
- 1 x 3.3k
- 1 x 1k
- 1 x 330r
Enjoy!
