Hi,
I'm selling my assembled SS CP5176, as I don't really have a use for it anymore.
FWIW, it's a great little unit, it's just that I went on a bit of a DIY rampage and built a pair of Igors F76's after I got it, and now have one 1176 style comp too many.
Obviously not going to split up the pair of F76s, so that's why this one has to go. I wanted to make sure I wasn't making a mistake selling it, so I've a/b'd it a bit with my F76s, and I can't really say I prefer one of the over, they're just a little bit different. If I was to sum up the CP5176, I'd say that it tends towards a more coloured sound. A bit like if a signal was going through a VP26 to a F76 in one!
So there you go. I've got it up on gearslutz classifieds as well, because, frankly, I'm happy to ask for a higher price from the none-DIY crowd.
For you guys it's £300 + PP fees or €400 + PP fees depending on whether you're from the UK or the EU zone.
I haven't shipped a lot of stuff across the world before, so I'd prefer to stick to the UK and EU for now, but if you can convince me that it's not overly difficult, then I'd be happy to ship to other places too.
I will check your post history and reserve the right not to sell to anyone who stalks more than they talk. Will only ship to the PP address.
Feel free to check my post history.
Cheers,
Kaz
