Hi there,
I've got Soundcraft 200b/200sr mixer console with 24 channels, but don't know which PSU is suitable for these gears.
I have CPS650(soundcraft), but is this too much powerful for 24 channel models?
For instance, Max. Output Current of CPS650 is 4.20 AMPS

And furthermore, I have to make a cable which convert 16 pins into 5 pins.
Is it safe or friendly for circuits to run CPS650 with lots of pins unconnected to anywhere?

Plus, which pins should I connect to each other?
Especially, there's Pin2( 0V ) on CPS150(default PSU for 200b), but there's no 0V function pin on CPS650 manual.

Cheers.

In general a console power supply with more current than is needed is not a problem as long as it delivers the correct rail voltages.

Thanks!
I'm glad this seems to work out.

Do you know anything about the proper connections of Pins?

Sometimes duplicate pins are used to allow larger currents than one pin can safely handle. Check the specs!
