TG-1 transformer comparison

btw, me and my assistant liked A best and this is configuration I ended up building into the box.

Yep, me too ! even if the differencies are very, very subtle (except E of course).

I spent nearly no time listening and what listening I did, was on AKG 240s (not primo). On those obviously flawed transducers, the drums sounded best on B and F. The others sounded stuffy, too full in the midbass/upper bass. Perhaps F sounded the most balanced between kick and snare fullness. Of course, one would have to have a look at the 240's FR to see if this is an artefact or not!
