Need advice on using my ProCo di box which has a speaker level out to feed Sunn 2000s amp to line level in. This works good when a cabinet is hooked off it.
QUESTION...How can I dummy load this amp head so I can track at line level. The power train of this bass head is superb sounding but don't want cabinet bleed into drum mics and DO NOT WANT TO DAMAGE THIS TREASURED AMP HEAD OR DRILL A HOLE IN IT FOR A PREAMP OUT..
Hey me pls...thx

Resistive dummy load.
If the nominal load impedance is 4 Ohms, 6-8 Ohms resistance @ 200 Wt (derated to deal w/heat) is what I'd start with for a safe load that will replicate what the amp does w/speaker. Higher numerical resistance will be darker & smoother, lower will be brighter & tighter & thinner.
