Hi Mike,
I just ordered a PSU pcb and a couple of ML2520's.
I have some old 990 style DIY DOA's from the board that I intend to put into some Mitsos pcbs.
I think I want 24V but maybe something less will work better.
So if its easy enough, I would rather be able to adjust Rail 1 and Rail 2 a little wider from about 16 to 24 V rather than a very fine adjustment.
What would I change to be able to do that? Just the trimmer resistor for those two to say 2K? or 2K with more turns?
Or is there more to it than that?
I am not so good on sourcing components. What a PITA. And yet some think its fun!
Thanks.
Scott

mikefatom said:Hey guys,
A quick update on the kits:
- I now have almost all the parts in (I have the phantom power section caps on backorder :'(). They should be in on the 18th/19th of this month.
- The PCBs from the fab house should be here this week.
- I can now make up custom kits with the following voltages available:
FIRST RAIL: -5V, -12V, -15V, -16V, -18V, -20V, -22V, -24V, -28V, -30V
SECOND & THIRD RAIL: 5V, 12V, 15V, 16V, 18V, 20V, 22V, 24V, 28V, 30V
FOURTH RAIL: +48V only!
- Since each rail is fine-adjusted by a multi-turn trim pot, all the above voltages can be adjusted +/-2V. For example, if you select the second rail to be 20V, the resistor/trimpot provided with the kit will allow output of anything between 18V and 22V. A greater range than +/-2V is actually available, but for reference purposes, +/-2V should be a taken as a good rule of thumb.
- KIT PRICING: A full 4 rail PSU will be $60. A 3 rail PSU (1 section left unstuffed) will be $52, and a 2 rail PSU (2 sections left unstuffed) will be $45. Power transformer, Heatsinks and Shipping/PP fees not included.
Please feel free to ask if there is anything left unclear.
Cheers
Mike
P.S.: All pending orders will ship tomorrow.
