Wirewound resistor for power pentode screen grid

I was repairing a Peavey 5150 EVH, and found all 100ohm 5W ceramic screen resistors dead in 6L6GC power stage. (but nothing burnt, maybe the wire inside the resistors broken by the vibrations..?)
I'm going to replace them, but I have some good looking 5W wirewound resistors that seem very robust, do you think it will make any issue due to inductance if I use wirewound instead of ceramic?

Ceramic resistors are usually wire-wound. I've never used anything else than wire-wound in that position.

Wire wound also has the benefit of less excess noise if that is an issue for you...

The screen resistors can act as a sort of fuse for the 6L6's. Increasing wattage makes them less likely to burn out.

Yes I've seen that on a 5150 Peavey. I was surprised that all 5W 100r screen resistors died without traces of heat or burning.
