2000 views in two days. Doesn't seem so bad for a "serious" video.

Of course, anything with a scarcely dressed busty blonde might do better.

Also, you'd better take 'em serious, as they will affect your life.

Apparently they don't believe in democracy and have turned comments of from their videos.
Since when has Democracy been the system where the most obnoxious a-holes with too much time on their hands get to post their unsolicited, inconsistent and half-baked opinions below videos? Are you sure that this was what the ancient Greeks had in mind?

Sounds lefty.

These E.U. people have nasty plans, like stealing money from Russia, every 2 years a driver license test plus psychology test, older than 15 year old cars are being forced to be scrap, etc, etc.

Aaaaargh. Commies in the house!

None of that is true. Just as an example: the program to take wrecks off our roads has been in place for decades. It works well. Cars that can't be economically repaired get recycled. The owner (a car dealer that just sold a new car) gets 1.000€ for the wreck and sends it to recycling; and that's not crushing an entire car, but taking it apart and recycling the different materials. This program costs money, but lately has been making a profit since prices for recycled materials (especially scrap iron) are high. That program will be extended with any car over 15 years. It's not a must, it's a possibility. The owner can decide to repair or sell for repair or sell for recycling.

The aim of the law is sending less old cars to Africa.

Why not? Is there anything wrong with knitting? It helps some concentrate. Others doodle. Should we eradicate that too?

I know somebody who used work within the EU ,
in a department dedicated to answering emails and queries from the public .
They were cajoled into accepting work mobile phones , then little by little people in the department who were handling incoming enquiries started to become unwell mentally , the other work colleagues dutyfully stepped in to help out , sharing the load , responding to often hostile incoming emails ,
One by one people in that department either quit their job or went out on sick leave , in the end the entire department was shut down , none of these people were under an obligation to have a work mobile , or be responding to hatemail after office hours , but once they accepted the work mobile these things became expected of them .

I expect these days many work contracts contain clauses covering work mobile phone usage ,
be careful what your signing upto .

Brussels is the only area in the EU where mobile phone radiation from the towers is on a lower level, because of the sheer number of cell phones and because some Ecolo members were worried about radiation. We tried to explain that putting the many towers on a lower transmit power, would make the phones go to a higher power level. To no avail, the subject was too difficult for the media.

It was felt that this was a more or less democratic solution way back then (late eighties). Those who didn't use a phone, would see less radiation. Nobody had a clue that the number of cell phones would explode like it did. Because the Wetstraat has so many tall buildings with complete glass fronts, obviously coated with a metal film for heat reflection, the cell towers in the vicinity of the EU building have been turned up slightly. Still, GPS goes haywire there because of the many reflections.

If your acquaintances have worked in a complaint department, I would think the psychological impact of that job would be far worse than any suspected cell phone radiation influence. It takes a strong person to work in a complaint dept.

Actually the department wasnt in Brussels at all but based in Den Hague, Holland ,

I wasnt suggesting the radiation was the cause , it was purely having to deal with a lot of negativity that made the people unwell .
I know that many working in social media companies taking complaints from the public have suffered similar problems and its ended up in court .

Interesting stuff about the mobile phone system though , sounds like a timebomb.

Sure, when Democracy was introduced the prevailing systems were authoritarian in nature. So Democracy was a very "lefty" idea.

There sure is a lot of valid criticism of the EU. But "stealing money from Russia"? Russia is stealing children from Ukraine. Russia is stealing lives from Ukraine. Russia is stealing the hopes and future from the people of Ukraine right now. If you're interested in Democracy and peace, it's fundamtental to cut off all sources of revenue from Russia, to prevent them from winning their illegal war.

Don't believe the media.

Russia was always portrait as a villain in movies, like James Bonds, etc, etc.

Listen Very CAREFULLY to this documentary.

Ukraine. Across its eastern border is Russia and to its west-Europe. For centuries, it has been at the center of a tug-of-war between powers seeking to control its rich lands and access to the Black Sea. 2014's Maidan Massacre triggered a bloody uprising that ousted president Viktor Yanukovych and painted Russia as the perpetrator by Western media. But was it? "Ukraine on Fire" by Igor Lopatonok provides a historical perspective for the deep divisions in the region which lead to the 2004 Orange Revolution, 2014 uprisings, and the violent overthrow of democratically elected Yanukovych. Covered by Western media as a people's revolution, it was in fact a coup d'état scripted and staged by nationalist groups and the U.S. State Department. Investigative journalist Robert Parry reveals how U.S.-funded political NGOs and media companies have emerged since the 80s replacing the CIA in promoting America's geopolitical agenda abroad.

All the "actors" are present in the documentary, like Mikhail Gorbachev, Vladimir Putin en more.
So you can listen their opinions.

The troubles in Ukraine started long before 24-2-2022 of the so called Russian Invasion.
The "west" has very wet fingers on what happened in 2014 in Ukraine!

Authoritarian is not simply "far right" as you imply. Most thinking people accept at least one of the several 2D descriptions of the space. In those models there are usually authoritarian extremes of economic and social axes or on one axis, there is a left and right authoritarian axis. Is China "far right?" Stalinist Russia?

If it wasn't for Russia, Europa would still be under control of the Nazi.

They sacrificed 23 million lives but eventually won!

Sorry you believe this BS.

I don't think this forum should serve as a platform for this kind of vicious propaganda...

Apogee 176 km, first man-made object to reach space by the modern definition (100 km altitude).

The goal was to attack USA from space in a followup design.

The German only made one mistake, being occupied at to many sites at the same time.

After more than 10k dead soldiers, dead civilians ranging from 3k to 25k according to different sources, more than 50k people exiled and a completely flattened city they are putting a couple new buildings there so midwits like you have some fresh propaganda to eat up and regurgitate. You're embarrassing.

The number of soldiers is far bigger.
Russia is not attacking civilians on purpose otherwise they would have lost the support of great part of the world.
Russia for much of the time in the past 2 years has defended their defense line, now it seems they are forwarding and taking towns.

I have been following these people from Siberia for more than 4 years and they are very nice and good people.
