Hi people,
Here's the pictures of nice and small version of my mastering console...
Very usefull thing. It have 5 inputs, each one can be sent into
cue and record independantly, 3 speaker outputs, mono-l, mono-r,
mono, dim, talkback and offset functions.
Offset adds user-programmable value to monitor attenuator,
i.e. it is "trim" for inputs, speaker outputs, talkback and dim.
Balanced from input thru output and passive, only relays
and metal-film resistors.
Option for balanced buffers at input/output.

I am never sure whether he inspires me or depresses me
Fine outstanding work - Igor

just a short question... is a pipe included with every delivery of an I.J. crm system?
"] I don't think you can still call this DIY
this great professional work :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
can't find a better way of putting it

 :guinness: :guinness: :guinness: :guinness: :guinness: :guinness: :guinness: :guinness: :guinness:

Unbelievably nice :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

BTW - are you trying to start a new measurement standard by putting your pipe next to one of your boards in one of the pics?

As in - "the Pcb is only 1 1/3 of a pipe wide by 1/2 pipe high"...

im about to start on some green pres, how many levels am i away from this? if the greens a starter, this looks like degree level stuff, damn you boffins, but i,ll be one of you soon!!!

oh, and by the way, thats beutiful

Wow, great!
Is the digital part your own development? Very cool, a mastering section with presets! I'm sure it sounds great (means it doesn't sound at all!), would you mind telling us a few bits about the technology you used to built this incredible piece of pro audio (DIY)?

Kind regards,

Martin

Thanx to all for nice words...well, what we should do at the next stage:
to adaptize this stuff for homebrewing as kit or leave it for peace as 225433609?

That's up to you

there are a few DIY controllers out there and so far non of the maker/designers have been prepared to let them out to the general DIY world yet

I guess there are two basic reasons ...
1/ - the makers are never quite finished and there seems to always be a slight change or mod that could be done
2/ - the makers feel that if they release the software that it could creep into cracking of some of there other products and so a line of Behringer Gear be released next week.

I think release a simple two chanel volume control and a seperate input switcher that can be built seperately or be built as a whole or be built into existing units.

Trouble is that this type of product can be a little specialized and it is hard to keep everyone happy all of the time.

check Dangerous to see how their product list has been growing and yet all the products in essence do the same thing.
A modular system that can grow and change and be adapted is what I proposed years ago and I can't seem to find a balance and so there is nothing new at the DIY Factory.

some what multi chanel surround control and some want multiple pairs of stereo with independant control. Much of the hardware is the same and all that need to be chanege is the software.
as I said above
hard to keep everyone happy all of the time.

nice work Igor, good luck
