I know, not exactly the right place here to ask, but ask a long time member ...;

My macbook pro refuses to charge the battery., still works with PS.
I pulled out the battery and measured on the pins where the battery is placed.
I have 3 X 3,45 V on 3 of the 5 pins. Can someone check this ?
I would like to know if this is correct/ sufficient, before I jump to the mac store and get a new battery.

thanks in advance.

I had the exact same problem... had to replace the battery. it's only like 120.00 dollars. the mac guy suggested only charging the battery when necessary instead of leaving it plugged in like I tend to do...

Get a new battery. Usually it's better when you charge it fully and use it FULLY (until the red battery sign in the OS) so it completes its full cycle every time - that tends to prolong battery life.

If it's under warranty you'll get the replacement for free =) Sometimes even if it's JUST gone out of warranty.
