Hey guys,
I'm finally building a Gyraf G7. I have two CAD Trion 6000 mics that are broken and a dual diaphragm Chinese C12 style edge terminated capsule I'm not using for anything else. I also have access to as many NOS tubes as I can be bothered trying out because I'm mates with the guy who supplies Beez Neez with their NOS tubes
So here's my question, is the Lundahl LL1538 transformer absolutely necessary for the build? I have a stock transformer salvaged from my old Trion 6000 or I could use a Cinemag CM2480. Will I notice a night and day difference between either of the transformers I now have and the Lundahl LL1538?
Thanks guys!!!
Kris
