Hi folks!

I've got a power transformer like this (attachment, for illustration only).
How do I mount it in a 1U case?
(I was thinking attached to bottom)

(GR Mp-2)

You could use a thin metal sheet as strap with  few screws and some hot glue so it doesn't move around. In any case test it with the working unit and move it around to find the lower noise spot.

Thanks for answering!

Yes, a metal-strap and two screws seems best.
Was worried that it might cause some magnetic field or something, but I guess it's ok then.

If it cause something is shielding, barely magnetic since it's open, but if it conducts it will help better. Sometimes a closed loop cooper sheet around makes the flux to remain inside.

Still I'd try moving it around as I said.

Thanks. I'll do that.
