So, I just recently bought my first vernier on ebay. I hadn't even used one before, But as soon as I saw one I knew it would save me lots of hassle.

It arrived this morning...I open the box and test it out, Within about 30 seconds the truth hits me;
Regular verniers are damn awkward to use for lefties such as myself!  :'(

I looked on ebay and the left handed equivalent is 10x the price!  :eek:

So, to save myself more annoying little surprises like this in the future...Which other tools will I need to buy in a "southpaw" version?

Yeah, it's a pain in the ass.  I don't have any answers past left handed scissors.

I can get by with right handed scissors most of the time, But you should see me try to use a regular can-opener!

The vernier will work for now (It will have to, I'm too cheap to buy another) but I'm sure there are other tools I'll find myself buying down the line which will be just as ill-designed for left-hand usage.
