Found some big transformers

I found 4 qty. JW Davis TR 740 70 Volt 40W transformers at the local recycle center and was wondering if anybody had any creative ideas on how they could be used. They weigh close to 3 pounds.

step-up transformers to drive the opto cell in a LA-3a type compressor.

70v transformers for installed/background music systems can be undersized for low bass response (transformers can saturate at high level LF). Probably OK for a sidechain, but perhaps not for a primary high performance audio path.
