I grew up with Glen's music: a brilliant voice, good music and production and, from what I can glean, a genuine good guy.

My uncle went the same way, Alzheimer's. What a horrible way to go. The brain starts to forget, eventually it forgets to tell the body the automatic stuff like breathing, swallowing, etc. The only upside is when you go, you don't know your going.

Glen was probably one of the best guitar players to ever live, he played so many legendary guitar riffs it's not true, I can understand why everyone loves him as a singer - I mean, what a singer?! But to me he'll always be the first guitar player I fell in love with.
