Hello, some time ago in a similar post I asked for your help about the possibility to replace the output transformer in my Orange Tiny Terror guitar tube amplifier.

In these days I have found an interesting Hammond transformer (1750PA) that may be a good solution
but it has the primary impedance of 8K4 Ohm while in the original one is 8K Ohm

Do you think this different impedance can create problems or can affect the sound?
Thank you in advance

If you had used a bit of math (or even a calculator), you would've easily seen that 8.4K is a mere 5% more than 8K.
Odds are good the stock transformers have more loose tolerances than that ;D Not to mention some of the components in the rest of the amp...

If you're sitting / standing in front of the cab, moving your head 5 inches will affect the sound a lot more than 5%, just FYI...

Long story short, it's a non-issue ;)
