Hi everyone!

I'm trying to build my own version of the SR-1 spring reverb by Hamptone with some minor additional features.

I'd like to add a 3 band equalizer to shape the signal coming out from the springs (as pointed out in the related article on TapeOp it can be really useful). Also, following another topic in this forum, i modified the recovery stage from inverting to non inverting. I added a  non inverting buffer before the EQ section. I also bypassed all the polarized capacitor with a 100nF C0G cap and added a volume control at the output of the circuit and removed the INST_OUT jack. Other features include a clipping indicator to not saturate the springs in the "drive" section (which is equal to the Hamptone one, so it's not drawn).

Here the "complete" modified schematics.

What kind of EQ can suite well on a spring reverb? I thought about something like 3 band Baxandall (like the one in Rod Elliott's website) or maybe this one

which seems a modified Baxandall stage with 3 different center frequencies.
Both seems a good compromise between funcionality and complexity.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
