Has anyone tried these switches yet?

I've been seeing things like these for a while now. Has anyone tried them?
So far as I know, they're non-shorting :sad: which kind of sucks.
Just thought I'd ask for opinions before I pony up.

You'll need a large diameter knob to turn these unless you want to pump up your muscles.

2-pole, 12-position shorting rotaries are only 3 bucks each at Mouser.

Yeah, they're decent. I like them better than the ever-popular Lorlins.
