Hi everybody ,

"Playing" to rebuild a copy of a psu  ,
and some " knot " to untie…

first of ,
the value of 2 inductors ,
showed in the attached image
(if the server system allows  the load)

the "code" on the "head" mean the value ?

a relative schematic will be posted a.s.a.p
(as ready)

thanks in advance for any post about !

222 probably means 2200uH and 221 would be 220uH. L is probably a tolerance of some sort. But it doesn't tell you current and you'll need to know that. The bourns high Q shielded radial inductors would probably be good for that.

Agreed 222 is most likely 2200uH and 221 is 220uH

Much thanks for post !!

so the psu have 1 section with TL783 (V Reg) and 2 other sections with LM317 (V Reg) ,
in attached the TL783 section scheme got from psu "source" ,
the bigger inductor with "222" info is the one near the out ,
there are also a diode and some resistor that the value have to be verified ,

any post/help about is welcome ,

while the schematic of other 2 psu sections are ready for post ,

cheers

104 is 100K

Thanks for post user 37518 !

so ,
finally had a bit of time to proceed with checking and "decoding" the psu board ,
it have 3 section ,

the first with TL783 have 2 inductors ,
the other 2 sections with LM317 have only 1 inductor ,

i checked various ac to dc psu schemes here on the groupdiy ,
but not found 1 with inductors ,
there is any specific reason why put them on a power supply ?

in attached the scheme about ,
(in the scheme sections 2 and 3 have a small value cap , with the + pin not connected ,
because still not checked where it is soldered , soon an update about)

any info-help about is welcome ,
thanks in advance , as always .

Finally had a bit of time o go on
and updated-extended the schematic on out section

a positive pin connection of small cap
(2 caps , 1 on section 2 and 1 on section 3, same position for all in the scheme)
still need to be confirmed

as on attached schematic

found a "strange" thing
the positive (+) pole of the section 3 out
connected to the negative (-) poles of section 1 and 2
as on the image
