1073 shield to B- connection

Looking at the screenshot below should the drain from U and P be connected right at terminal V B- as shown or does it simply mean to connect it to B- anywhere and would it be better if connected at my star ground. Or does it not matter

By the way can the wires for BA284 pins U and P be within the same 2 conductor shielded cable or must they be separate? Same question for BA283 pins U and T
