hi,
yesterday i recieved a beautiful lexicon 224xl which i plan to use thru my 480L/LARC. unfortunatly there seems to be a problem. when i connected it there was a pretty high noise coming out of it, when i disconnected the input and resetted it it was gone. i cleaned the contacts on the cards, moved all cards, moved the ICs on them - nothing. took it to my tech - who doesnt have a card extender and therefore could only do a few things like checking voltage levels etc: all good.
i also did those 3 three tests from the manual but audio was still distorted so i would assume it has to be on the audio input card/converter.
so i´m reaching out to the world of techs and diy-ers and vintage gear lovers - does this ring a bell? any tips for me?
i read already quite a few simular threads but all had some errors on diagnostics so this confuses me ...
help!
cheers,
basti
