I think so. Some printer power supplies have 2 rails as well. I have one here that has 16vdc and 32vdc  and over an amp each...

It seems this was somewhat common in some older (50's?) stuff (B+).  Was the technology not up to speed back then or was this used for convenience or some other reason??? Or is that still considered low current?? 150-250vdc?
