Too crazy to build discrete vca's...what about using some ssm2018 i have around here?the difference is in the control response...it's -30mv/dB,while the
that vca is -6mv/dB...i guess playing with the gain of the opamps that generate the controls for side chain and channels,should do the trick...
I also have some ssm2164 ,that contain four vca's,with the same -30mv/dB law...
Sounds less crazy?
I'm just trying to go further in my ideas,because the generosity of another member provided the solution,but this discussion can be educational about vca's in general...
