A-Designs EQ-1 & MP-2r distortion

Hi!

I have a MP-2r and two EQ-1 made by A-Designs.
I bought them many years ago and I have'nt used them for a while since they all loose headroom and distort quite easily after being warmed up.
They are running on 230 VAC here in Sweden.

Before I dig into the units I would like to know if there's any info concerning repair and service that should be considered.

Any information would be appreciated.

You should contact A designs.  From a friend's experience (not me personally) they seem nice and will try to help you out.

Actually I got a very quick reply from them before I started this thread. The suggestion was to change tubes. Gonna do that and check electrolytics. Just wanna know if there's something worth knowing since they all started to behave in the same way.
