Is Apex Eectronics up in Sun Valley still operating?

I am in LA in a few weeks and its time to make my annual pilgramage.

I heard that they might be closing down, which would be mighterly sad.

The fires fell out of the country wide, world wide news a while ago.  They have since been controlled but still going. So they are contained at the moment.

Hi Jakob, unfortunately not.     

I am still planning my trip but it looks like back end of Feb/early March at the moment.  Apex is always a good place to visit and usually takes up half a day, despite making a list beforehand. 

If you haven't been there, Apex Jnr is also worth a visit but it pays to ring ahead to make sure they will be in.

Incidentally, if anyone is in the Pheonix area, I found a brilliant surplus store there called Apache Reclamation, bought a load of transistors and stuff at really low prices
