Hi

Wondering if anyone, by chance, has the handbook or schematic for this limiter? Seeing as I now own it, I would like to find any documentation on it. Contacted ADR, they don't have it any longer. Broadcast series unit, based on the f760 circuit. Modular.

Thanks!

Have you downloaded the F760 manual ?  I would bet if you open this up it probably has the same circuit boards in it.  You could probably use part of the calibraton procedure.  If not you could try contacting Tony Arnold ( http://www.helios-electronics.com/index.htm ).  He seems to be able to service any of these early ADR products.

Hey. Thanks for the reply.  Yeah, I was thinking in case of repair or modification, a drawing would be nice to find. Seeing as it's based around the 760, someone that is familiar with the circuit probably wouldn't have trouble. I did send TA an email, but haven't heard back yet.

Thought I knew pretty much the entire A+D product line, but that one is new to me.  Any idea of manufacturing date?

Pix of the innards?

It could maybe related to the newer Compex 2?

edit: ignore me, looks much older...

Hey Brian. I can put up some pictures when it arrives. It dates in around '78-'79. Talked to someone at ADR that said it was 'a Fet/feedback type design similar to the 760 series'. They didn't have schematics tho. Module is the M600. The studio I bought them from had a few of them(6) hooked into their Helios desk.

I was involved with A+D's USA marketing in the early 1980's and that product line wasn't being sold in that time frame.  Must have been discontinued before I was involved.

I suspect if you collect the various schemos from that time frame you'll find plenty of similarities.
