i got some issues on the AES out of a soundscap ibox 48-SA (the parent of ssl alpha link madi sx without the madi port in my case).
i succes to feed the aes in of the ibox with the aes out of my merging hapi, go to my hardware, back to the AD of the ibox is ok, and when i connect the aes out of the ibox to the aes in of the hapi, i see nothing in the hapi.
it become wierd when i try to connect the aes out of ibox to the spdif in of a motu ultralite with a dumb XLR to cinch adpater, the ultralite see nicely the aes out of the ibox....
so i look with scope at the aes signal from an aes out of the ibox and an aes out of the hapi.
i see a "nice" square signal from the hapi and a wierd signal from the ibox...
i think i just miss something, but i don't see...
is there two different AES standard? the soundscape ibox is from 2005 and i just buy it 2nd hand...
Maybe someone got an idea
