AKG D20 wiring

Does anybody have any documentation for an AKG D20? I recently picked one up, and it's working, but upon looking inside it the lowcut switch and transformer both seem to be bypassed. There's nothing else in mine, so maybe the transformer is simply part of the lowcut system? In addition the hot and cold leads seem shorted together in the headbasket somewhere. I haven't been able to get the headbasket apart, and the unit is working as is so I'm hesitant to start breaking it up, but if there's something else that needs to be sorted in order get a balanced output I'd like to know.

If anybody has one and wouldn't mind opening it up and taking a few photos I would be extremely appreciative. The doesn't seem to be much documentation available online.
