Alesis HD24 Question

Hi..Just signed up and I have a question. I have a Alesis HD24 and the stop button light stays on when I turn the unit off from the front. I have done a reset and it is still on. Any suggestions? Thanks

does this affect operation or is this just a cosmetic annoyance?

Normal operation I belive, only go's off when the rear switch is off.
indicates standby
