Let me check... I want to drive a few loads with the same signal
but isolated from each other, so want to use a TX with separate sec. windings.
I have a few Altec 15356A TXs 600:600 with split primaries (150+150)
Can I use this transformer backwards and use the two primaries
now as 'isolated' secondaries ?
(They'll each have 6dB less level but that actually suits me)
Looks a no-brainer, but I recall a remark somewhere that there might be
an issue with this.
The stage driving the TX will have a low enough source-impedance.
Note the Altec-info seems to hint at backwards-use already (application 2
at the right), but that might just be me wanting to understand it in this way
Thanks,
Peter
