Ok, so I have an Altec 342b and it sounds really good, both into speakers and interfaced with my computer. My question is how can I best improve it. I want to add per channel a trim control, phase switch, rumble filter, and then pan circuit. If (when) I get this far I want to add a tube stereo out to line level and consumer audio level maybe even balanced out. If need be I can scrap the whole power section for my mods to have room, making this an all pre amp no power amp. The EQ section needs major changes to as it is the weakest part of the 342b (IMHO).

here are some pics

Thanks Bert

you already started a thread about this yesterday. starting a new thread because someone didnt come along and answer your questions right away is kind of obnoxious. please be patient!

Impatient maybe, but hardly obnoxious.
