Hi folks!

I put together a clone of an Altec 436 compressor; it sounds great! Because it has so much gain and sounds good I am thinking of using it as a standalone preamp/lineamp as well and thus I would like to be able to drive it without compression.

I am aware that the compression can be "bypassed" by removing the 6AL5 tube, but I would like to do this with a simple switch on the front panel. I'm not sure where should I put the switch in the circuit in order to eliminate the compression. Could this be done with a simple single-pole switch placed somewhere?  I have attached the schematic.

Thanks!
