Ampex 351 voltage on xlr input

Hello all,
I have an Ampex 351 here that was shocking my friend. It looks to be unmodded but has had some work done before. There are definitely new caps installed. I turned it on and I'm able to meter 180VDC on pins 2 and 3 of the input XLR. The voltage is present in all of the input transfer switch positions.
I'm assuming that isn't right!
Has anyone seen anything like this in one of these before? I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting!

180VDC on pins two and three sounds like a mis wire somewhere.  lot of wires in those things. I would confirm that vs a schematic and a picture,

I concur.  If I remember those correctly all the connections are pushed into slots on the card edges, very easy to switch a connector when putting it back together.

Does the unit have an input transformer fitted?
