If I got it right then the EZ1290 design allows for different input transformers to be used. Does the rest of the circuit stay the same, in particular the 180p capacitor across the output of the mic input TX?
Was any work done in this project on ringing/damping at the mic input transformer (I didn't spot anything so far) or was the aim here just to faithfully recreate the original Neve circuit as far as possible/practical?
