Anybody know where I can find EDAC/Elco snakes for a Soundcraft 1600?

Trying to help a friend hook up a Soundcraft 1600 24 channel to his tape machine.
Unfortunately, when he got this mixer, he did not get any cabling with it. It's got three male 56 pin EDAC connectors on the bottom. Each is supposed to break out to 16 unbalanced connectors - send and return from a tape machine for eight channels per EDAC.
The very few snakes that I can find are male on the EDAC end, and he needs female.
I've looked, and there is apparently no such thing as a gender changer or male to male adaptor.

Before I tell him he's going to have to find someone to make the snakes, does anyone have any of these around, or know any place that might?

not sure if anyone has them ready made, but i had redco make me 3 of these exact cables for my soundcraft tape machine

How long do they need to be? I have a bunch of pre terminated mogami edac ends and could wire them up pretty affordably.
