So ive been looking into some API schematics lately.
The 550a has caused me Quite the headache.
I cant really seem to understand how the circuits exactly works ,the schematic is rather confusing.
It doesnt utilize any inductors Like a neve or pultec,so my best guess would be gyrators?
Are those little Buffer amp stages (attached Image) used AS the opamps of the gyrator?! I tryd googling But didnt find a definitiv answer.
Any Help would be much appreciated.
