API Transformers-AP2157 VS. AP2623

we picked up a few more modules for our 1604 side car a few months ago...
and it's time to make them a little more complete.

the new ones came with only one output transf. 
this means no direct out on those modules.  no longer good enough.

SO... the 528 modules all have AP2157-1 output trannys.

AND...we have a couple spare oscillators, and a couple old center section modules from
an old dead beast that have AP2623-1 output trannys.

info on the 2623 is easy to find.  i don't see anything on the 2157.

LEADING TO... are these interchangeable?  by the looks and usage i would think so.

in searching, i found this question asked a couple months ago in the 12 page 'Jeff's API' thread, but no
answer.

There are a few others too. Coolest thing about google is I found an API wiki page, which, besides the history stuff, lists a bunch of their module and trafo numbers and what they are.. cool.

hope that helps. I'll be interested to hear about how these trafos work out.

yes the 2623-1 and 2157 are interchangeable.  anywhere you see one you can use the other.
