Well I cut up an Apple Ipod AV cable for this project. This is one of those cables that splits out audio, video, and power charging over RCA, for audio and video, and power over USB.
When I cut open the audio connections I only found two leads. I was expecting to see at least three leads, left, right, and ground. I ran audible continuity but I couldn't get any connection from these leads to the tips of the RCA connections. What's going on here?
