But I want to plug a microphone with XLR and use a phantom power as well.
My take on a G9 with trafoless input. What's the Phantom?

Ain't this what I am doing? If the 1176 input is not the optimal decision for a mic input, do you have an other proposition for a debalancing circuit? Maybe this one can be modified to match a mic input?
From what I understand, both inputs (+/-) 'see' a 10k resistor which is too high of an impedance? Is it also the OpAmp not good for this operation?
