Here is my latest input xfmr on permalloy core with kinda extreme specs
Measurements with AD2/Digilent, no Zobel.
Old photo added for dimensional reference, I'm thinking of a single M10 hollow screw for clamping.

I bought a bigger quantity of permalloy 50 and 80 years ago from a South-Korean seller but I haven't been in touch with him since.

1:13 is tough, must be some interleaving/discs going on,

That's a crude FFT where yellow is the input and blue output, just to give a general idea about the level of distorsions, nothing precise but still meaningful.
Sorry, I'm trying to quit square waves since I realized I waste too much time trying to adjust for good looking.
Yeah, almost everything above 1:10 is difficult...

New day, fresh coffee, here are 2 shots at 10kHz sq wave, 1Vrms/25Ω source, in phase and phase inverted, 1:13 into 1MΩ/30pF, no Zobel network involved... as I said, I try "to quit" sq wave, a Bode diagram with THD over an extended bandwidth (like 10Hz-1MHz) tells me more and I consider it more useful.
