I can only recommend them... A big step over my KH O300 or amphion one15. Hypex plate amps are great for DIY and the Volt Chassis are for example build in PMC monitors. Best Studio Investment...There´s a German company called aos-lautsprecher which offer DIY kits of ATC-alike speakers. Maybe you can get some inspiration there from their choices: https://www.aos-lautsprecher.de/lautsprecherkits/monitor/cm38/

Right, but the OP wants to make a copy of the SCM100, not the SCM50, this the 12” woofer and port (and why I suggested the Scanspeak rather than the Volt driver). The ATC50 ist not meant as ported loudspeaker. Its only for Ventilation at very high Levels. I never saw an original atcs inner life but i gues Theres a lot of damping Material inside.
The benefit of These hypex (253) amps are the digital Control of xover and plate amp gain to customize the system in your room. It does have a measuring function too.
Which one did you build?I can only recommend them... A big step over my KH O300 or amphion one15. Hypex plate amps are great for DIY and the Volt Chassis are for example build in PMC monitors. Best Studio Investment...
