B.L.U.E. Robbie

Based on the description at their site, it seems that it´s nothing like the Bellari or Behringer mic preamps. In fact the description sounds like a high-end transformerless hybrid mic preamp. Very interesting, but one must hear it to know how it sounds, no? Don´t trust descriptions.

But yes, the design sure looks terrible, like all other Blue stuff. I mean, it looks good, but functionallity is terrible. Who wants a ball mic? Who wants buttons on the back? Who wants gear that can´t fit the rack?

The reasion they have the ball mic is so we can say I got blue balls. :green:

I actually got a pair of Blue Balls for that reason!

I love the look on clients face when I tell them I have Blue Balls.

Actually, they're excellent room mics for drums. I use them all the time for this.

yeah but if you say you got 3 balls sounds like human mutation. I have a pair of blue balls as well. I find them to be useful and definately a plus when saying you have a pair of blue balls.
