Hi,
I have a dual-channel BA283 clone preamp.
One channel works well, but the other channel makes loud pops when switching the gain switch.
I swapped the boards with the 2N3055 transistor between the two channels, and the popping noise moved to the other channel (so it's not a dirty switch).
I measured the voltages on both channels, and everything seems identical.
What else can I do?

Are the capacitors old? Maybe a leaky electrolytic allowing DC to the switch.
It's from 2013, I'll replace the electrolytics and see if it fix the noise.
If I'm getting it right, the three capacitors connected to the gain switch are C8, C14 and C17.
Could there be other caps that may be causing this issue?
