Hi.

So there has been a small delay.
Metal parts are delayed for about a week.
I will recieve the parts this week but they will need to be screenprinted also.
I already started the assembly process.

I will let you know when I start shipping!

There is a huge amount of interest. It might be that not everyone can get a rack from this run.
But don't worry this will not be a last run!
All the contacts that I have had will get an email once the units are ready!

I am already making plans for a new patch!
But lets make this one ready first!

You can use 51x modules also, not only 500

Hi.

So metal is late and I could not make the picture like I would have wanted to.
But you should get the idea from this.

Its a Doublerack set with a transportcase.
Transportcase is custommade 8U case. Really good quality build.

It will fit two racks and two 500PSUv2 Power Supplies.
In the future PSUs can be replaced with a 2U rackmount double PSU.

I will post more pictures once I get metal and assemble some racks.

Cost of the transportcase is 200€
If you buy the Double set, Racks will be assembled inside the transportcase and all the power cables will be in the correct length.

Ouch, damn, you are correct sir. Making corrections in a previous post.
This is indeed a 8U transportcase.
I just figured out that I can proudly say that the racks are "Hand Made" jeii!

I can show you the Rack mount PSU by the end of the month I hope. Because there has been some serious overload in my time. I got a good friend, Laur, who is helping me with the assembly process and its a real relieve. But still I think this week is booked for me. Saddly Laur is leaving after this to be a plane pilot and take you guys on your business trips and holidays.

I will recieve screenprinted parts this evening so I can upload a final picture of the unit tomorrow.
Also I will wieght the transport case with the racks, you got me curious Dr Gris.

I know you want to keep all the fun to yourself but if you offered DIY kits also I am sure that will take some time off your hands. I know people here are more than willing to enjoy a good solder session or two.

It looks sturdy enough.
As I'm mostly doing on location recordings I thought it would be
practical to have my two GDIY 51X racks and my double 2U PSU in one case,
but it became too heavy when the racks were filled. It became very obvious when almost
every module has input and output transformers  8)

Now, I'm a "one man show" and I guess the real professionals wont have a problem,
and probably most people aren't as stupid as I am and carry these around  ;D

I think your idea is great! Keep it up.

No good news yet.
There has been some serious problems with parts.
It just that when something starts to go bad then it will go really really bad.
I was hoping I could get this patch done without problems.
Lets hope for the next time

Next deadline is the beginning of next week. But I will have only 6 racks saddly.
But I will work out a solid solution! So that the final result will not suffer!

From now on there will be a stable flow as I got all the production steps corrected.
