Be Careful When Buying a Used "Neumann" From GC/MF

So someone just AliExpressed this thing and walked into GC then walked away with $450?

I messaged them to notify them it is a knock-off, though I fully expect that it will remain up regardless.

Yeah, I'm sure they'd refund it if a buyer purchased and realized it's a knock-off. Pretty crappy if someone knowingly sold that to them, but I guess worse things are done all the time. Ultimately it will simply be a loss / write-off for GC, assuming someone doesn't blindly buy it and believe it to be real and happily keep it.

They're sister companies but they share stock. Anything (used) the one sells the other does too, have yet to see an exception to that "rule".
