third stone from the sun
made beer biscuits and they were good.
You need
(ingredients)
2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon Salt of your choice, I used garlic salt
¼ cup Shortening
¾ cup  beer, I used guinness and boy was it good

(prep and cook)

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).

2.Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in shortening until it has cornmeal consistency. Stir in beer, and knead lightly.

3.Roll dough out to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter.

4. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.

came out great.

Wow sounds good ,
a little grated cheese in the biscuit mix could add another taste dimension .
The Scandinavians swear by salty liqourice with their beer , helps the body retain water and apparently lessens hangovers next morning .
