Does anyone use their Bellari RP583 in dual mono mode while mixing or tracking?

I have two units that exhibit the exact same behavior.  Here is the setup and test...

Disable the LINK button.  Drive CH1 with a normal signal.  Lower the CH1 threshold to get about -6 to -10db of compression.  Listen to CH2 to hear the signal from CH1 bleed into CH2.  The bleed through gets louder and more distorted as the CH1 threshold is lowered.

Does your unit do this?  I am wondering if this is a design "feature" (i.e. flaw), or something that can be repaired.  btw, I just got one of my units back from Bellari who tested it and said it was performing to OEM specs.  Their technician said that I might have more sensitive equipment than their test equipment... ha!  This probably is pretty easy to detect with your ears.

Thanks for checking.

yes, I'm sure it's " performing to OEM specs", just it's a cheap unit and manufacturer and their specs are really low.

Don't have that unit, I'm used a few in small studios over the years, never did that test but never liked the performance anyway.

Could be something in the way the common ground is connected to both units?
some sort of cabling or traces induction? I dont know even if this exists

Are there audio transformers inside?

I notice the exact same thing with my RP583. It's so bad that I can only use channel one on it's own. I think it's a design flaw. I wonder if a resistor can be installed somewhere on the line where the signal is leaking through. Do you think it would degrade the sound? Any ideas of how to solve this problem or where to find a schematic?
