So i'm trying to figure out the best way mechanically to rack up some v672s. These are the telefunken made modules with the silver front panels, and i'd like to display the panels as they look pretty cool!

I found Martin's rackjob here http://homepage.mac.com/marten.thielges/racking/easylifeVX72.html

which looks nice.. also a vintage king rack

anyone else have any advice for the best way to go about this? Also, are these in a standard size (ie. EuroCard, DIN) and ifso, what is the sizing?

thank you!

i'd just put it in schroff type eurocard rack. the modules should be 3u and you can add to it as you get more. it seems wasteful to put just 2 in a 2u rack when you can fit 8 or 10 in a 3u rack

Hiya Drama,

In process of mounting 4 vertically, into a 3 u box.

Haven't finished connecting them up yet, as i've been ' forcibly promoted' in work, and DIY time is getting quite thin on the ground. ( haven't been to the forum, for about a month !!).
hope this can give you an angle :thumb:

I just racked a pair of these... once I get some pics I'll post here to keep all the racks in the same place !

Steve, lookin' good !!!

To The Lab, please.

(Sorry to act like "Forum Cop", but I'd really like to see the Drawing Board stay focused on Theory and Design. The Lab is exactly the right place for a thread like this).
